Interesting article about a man who bought a second hand USB MP3 player and when he accessed it realized it contained US Military data files.

It is doubtful that they are critical and the US Military has been banning use of portable data storage since November 2008. Anyway you can read more about it HERE.

Flexicord - A GREAT New Idea!

Wednesday, January 14th, 2009

Wireless electricity and wireless data transmission for all peripherals has been promised for many, many years but it has never really reached an end-user delivery. I still sit looking at the jumble of cords on, around and underneath my desk, TV cabinet and various other places around the house.

Wireless electricity has recently been successfully demonstrated and (hopefully) we will see this in the (near) future. Until then check out this site HERE.

These cords have just jumped up to No. 1 spot on my tech shopping list. The site is HERE and an example picture is below. I will be happy when these become a regular item in my local PC shop!

Congratulations to the designer, the elegance of re-designing with Zen simplicity a products millions (if not billions) use everyday!

Check it out and before you buy a new flash drive - DO SOME RESEARCH!
