Adware in itself may be harmless. It is a type of software that quietly loads on to your computer but it searches information on your computer and sends it to online advertisers. As a result such sites using this information target you with ads that they think might be of interest to you. This is how you get a lot of the pop up ads. Adult sites are a sure source of Adware. When you are online, there is always a chance that you unknowingly land up on such a site. And if you do, you had better get your Adware removal tool working as soon as possible. The number of pop ups you can get after going somewhere like that might be enough to crash your computer.

Pop up ads appearing in large numbers on your computer, is a sure sign that it infected with Adware. Despite all the care and precaution, you are computer is bound to get Adware infection if you spend any time online. Perhaps it is something from a site that you trust, but you may never know.
